Kia Stinger: Power Train / Fuel Filter (For Diesel engine only)
Repair procedures

Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the engine cover (A).
|
3. |
Disconnect the water sensor connector & fuel heater connector (A), fuel
pressure sensor connector (B).
|
4. |
Disconnect the fuel inlet tube line quick-connector (C),from the fuel
filter.
|
5. |
Remove the fuel filter bracket installation bolts (A), and then remove
the fuel filter from the vehicle.

6. |
Remove the fuel filter installation bolts, and then remove the fuel filter
assembly from the bracket.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
After removing or replacing the following parts, bleed air in
low pressure fuel circuit.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Air bleeding in low pressure
fuel circuit")
