Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to the Fuel Delivery System - "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line")

2.	Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

3.	Remove the rear seat cushion. (Refer to Body - "Rear Seat Assembly")

4.	Remove the fuel pump service cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

5.	Disconnect the fuel feed quick-connector (A).

6.	Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector (B).

7.	Disconnect the fuel pump connector (C).

8.	Remove the sub fuel sender service cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

9.	Disconnect the sub fuel sender connector (A).

10.	Lift the vehicle.

11.	Remove the center muffler assembly. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Muffler")

12.	Remove the propeller shaft assembly. (Refer to Driveshaft and Axle - "Propeller Shaft")

13.	Disconnect the fuel filler hose (A) and leveling hose (B).

14.	Disconnect the ventilation (A).

15.	Support the fuel tank with jack (A).

16.	Remove the fuel tank installation nut (B) and then loosen the fuel tank.

17.	Remove the fuel tank (A).

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

Repair procedures Removal 1. Remove wheel nuts, wheel and tire (A) from hub. Tightening torque: 107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft) Be careful not to damage the wheel bolts when removing the wheel and tire (A).

Engine oil and filter The engine oil and filter should be changed at the intervals specified in the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is being driven in severe conditions, more frequent oil and filter changes are required. Drive belts Inspect all drive belts for evidence of cuts, cracks, excessive wear or oil saturation and replace if necessary.
