Description and operation

Description

Hood switch is one of the factors influencing the activation of the ISG function. When the hood is open, the engine will not start or stop by the ISG function for safety reasons.

Hood Switch Inspection

1.	Remove the front bumper assembly. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Assembly")

2.	Disconnect the hood switch connector (A).

3.	Check for continuity between the terminals and ground as shown below. (Refer to Body - "Hood Latch")
